Unable to deliver guns

My earliest affect person had a delivery date/time of 04/04/2020 02:36 PM and is still pending at this point.

I see it is affecting all my DROS now as I had a delivery for a client at 04/05/2020 09:50 AM that is still showing a Pending Status.

I hope DOJ gets their crap together and fixes this issue. I have now called all my clients today and instructed them DOJ is down and we cannot deliver their guns.

Same problem here. I have three delayed...and no apparent reason either side, and two that were to be delivered today, and are pending. Not good.
Several more to deliver Mon and Tue. Will see what happens.
Bummer for clientele and reputation.

I've already told all my Monday clients not to come in unless they see a green light tonight. Told them to text me before driving in to double check if system working yet.

I wasn't able to pickup yesterday in Livermore, others were waiting since about noon. My initial DROS was 3/25 4:28pm. Was wondering if this was an isolated to that FFL or state wide issue. Hopefully by tomorrow this will be resolved and get to drive 40 minutes to and from again.

Call ahead or at a minimum check back in this thread.. It'll give you some idea if things are back "up"

FYI, I received an email at 11:31 am asking for my CFD number. So someone is there, but who knows if they are actually doing anything, most likely not.

I just checked my first DROS from yesterday (04/05/2020 11:24 AM) and I can now deliver the gun. I checked one from today ( 04/05/2020 09:50 AM) and it still says Pending.

I still can't release anything from 3 17 pm yesterday onward.

I just got a phone call from an idiot at the CA DOJ and I am tempted to post her phone number. She said that they are delayed due to the number of DROS and that we are supposed to wait the 24 hours, the extra 24 hours, until contacting them again.

I asked her if they were going to pay for the time and money that they are costing people due to the person having to come twice. She asked why the person had to come twice and she didn't get that because they violated the law and that the firearm couldn't be released, the person has to come back. She gave no answers as to what is really going on other than they are not making the 10 day time period.

If any lawyers get involved, I will give them the phone number of this person.

The bottom line is that they really don't care as they seem to think that they can just get away with it.

They can get away with it for the foreseeable future. Even if legal action is taken it'll be weeks before anything happens.

How is this legal? The "press deliver" is only administrative policy and not in the P.C. right? The 10-day wait has been satisfied. If they never take care of the problem I hope it will come to a point where everyone just decides to release anyway.

They can get away with it for the foreseeable future. Even if legal action is taken it'll be weeks before anything happens.

What penalty will they ever pay? If they somehow manage to be be fined, guess who really pays? Not a penny will come out of hte pockets of those responsible. They won't refund the DROS fee or anything else, even if lawyers get involved.

Yeah, I got a call, but it made me even more annoyed as the line that I am supposed to just wait 24 extra hours isn't acceptable, but that is what they are trying to feed people. They don't even have the sense to mark the DROS as delayed. Honestly, all of those involved should be fired and their pensions revoked, as well as being locked up in jail for at least 24 hours.

If you don't mark it as delivered, then they don't mark it as delivered. Also, dealers will get a violation if there delivered DROS isn't signed and have a thumbprint, when then they can claim a violation of the law and revoke the ability of the dealer to do business. So anyone who releases anyhow can be put out of business.

Well, it is been 24 hours and still can't deliver. I bet they will say to wait another 24 hours.
