Once again, you are completely incorrect, with a few exceptions. Charities, political groups, and religious groups all have the 1A right to come and speak with you on your property uninvited. HOWEVER, once you ask them to leave they are obligated to do so. Also, a "no trespassing" sign is valid against even those protected groups that I mentioned.

Even though this topic garners a lot of emotional response, much like gun rights, I would encourage all CGN members to stand for the entire constitution and not just the parts that they like. Otherwise we're no better than the anti-2A hypocrites that we all dislike so much.

Be an adult. Answer your door. Be polite, thank them for their concern for your soul. Tell them you have that matter already taken care of and ask them not to stop at your house anymore because it pisses off the gun nut in your basement.

If you have recently moved to your location within the last year that might be the reason they keep showing up. Answer the door and inform them that you aren't interested and that will be the end of them showing up. They are Mormons not Jehovah's Witnesses.

This if you where lds in the past they will bug you like once a month or so. But if you answer and let them know you aren't interested they will generally leave you alone

You have no obligation to interact or discuss religion with them. Just be polite but firm, and wish them a nice day.

Once I got over the mentality that I had to convince them I'm not interested, it became much easier. Once "no thank you" comment and I'm finished.

Well, sure, you can do that.

As an Atheist I certainly don't want to discuss religion with them either. But what I do is offer them a cold bottle of water and politely tell them to have a great day.

And despite how irritatingly persistent they are, I have personally never met a rude Mormon. I may not agree with their beliefs, but they are, on the whole, very kind people.

Why don't you share the gospel with them? If they accept it, that's GREAT! If they don't like having the gospel shared with them, they probably won't come back.

That may be the present teaching of the JWs, but I have publications from the Watchtower that are in conflict. I have volumes of You Can Live Forever where 1 book says that the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah will be ressurected and 1 book where it says the inhabitants will not be ressurected. Same book, same covers, same pictures. I'll post pictures of the publications later this evening. Hummmmm.... What's going on here...

Just ask them questions that they do not want to answer. Ask them to rationally explain why god changed his mind about African Americans and finally allowed them into the church in 1978. Ask them why god changed his mind about polygamy. Talk to them about gay rights. These will not be well received and they will probably leave you alone. They will have something new to consider as well. Everybody wins!
