Israel and the Jews are two separate things. You won't admit that. You keep referring to Old Testament scriptures obviously pointing to all Hebrews an then dishonestly trying to say they only pertain to the Jews and have not a single scripture to back that up.

I agree. Matthew seems quite clear on this. But one verse was left out.

Using the Revised King James, Matthew says:
Matt. 24:21 "For then shall be a great tribulation". "Then" meaning after or at that time. It appears to refer to after the "abomination of desolation" being set up.
Matt. 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heaven". "Then" meaning after or at that time. It appears to mean after the desolation and great tribulation.
Matt.24:40 "Then shall two men be working in the field". "Then meaning after or at that time" It appears to refer to after the Son of Man appears.

I'm really at a loss to understand how some people can read the Bible, and think that some how our generation is so special that nothing will happen to it. I'm not pointing fingers here, because I have heard it from other Christian friends who feel that God will not allow anything bad to happen to us, because we are some how "special".
It really doesn't seem to hard to read Matthew as Christ spoke it.

I agree statements made previously about the "rapture". When someone says "rapture" I immediately translate to 2nd Coming.
