When does the rapture take place?

While the word "Rapture" is not mentioned in the bible, it is the word that has been used to describe the event shown below:
1Th 4 : 13 - 17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
and
1Cor 15 : 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
So the question to ask is this, is there anything in scripture that states when the last trumpet will sound?Last edited by Decoligny; 04-01-2015, 4:20 PM.sigpic

It made them think.
What it made them think was that you are a troll.
To help reduce that thinking, maybe you should let the question stand and watch what discussion naturally ensues, and not try to direct it, or try to force your viewpoint on everyone. I would guess that you probably have the exact date and hour calculated out already.

No most of the posts agreed with me on the subject. Only a couple people like you thought otherwise. It helps to argue a point that's in agreement with scriptures.

I think right now it's becoming obvious who the troll is.

The Bible is quite clear. There will be a second coming, there will not be a third.-POLICESTATE,

I have to respectfully ask: were you reading the same thread (ref: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1055173)? There were quite a few of us (the majority, if you actually go by the numbers) who disagreed with you in that previous thread. In fact, some of the folks who disagreed with you assumed from your position that you must be a troll and went so far as to "troll you back" and got the thread locked. I did not troll (nor do I troll), but I do specifically disagree with your premise in that thread because your position contradicts multiple passages from the Scriptures as I noted in this post: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...&postcount=121. I would have liked to have gotten your responses to the specific points that I and Just Dave raised.
I found it interesting that you did not respond to my questions nor Just Dave's questions in that thread. Had that previous thread not been locked, I would have pressed you further to reply to the specific points I raised. I also found it interesting that you continued to cite a debunked claim (the infamous "Khazari Jew" claim) even after others pointed out that it is not true, and after I pointed out that even IF it were true, it would not change the fact that they are Jews. It was also interesting to note that you posted a video which attacks the Scofield Reference Bible which was one of the greatest promoters of dispensationalism and replacement theology, yet you hold to replacement theology. That seems ironic. In effect you attacked one of the pillars upon which most folks who hold the same (or similar) view to yours stand. I haven't seen that before.
When you ignore passages of Scripture that contradict your position, and also ignore a scientific study that contradicts your premise (ala the "Khazari Jew" claim), many will assume you are the one who is "trolling".
Lest you think I'm "trolling" you, I'll give you a straightforward answer to your question in this thread: the harpazo will occur when Christ returns.Regarding the 2nd Amendment:
"...to disarm the people ― that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." George Mason ("The Father of the Bill of Rights")
Regarding Life and Death:
"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28
The BIG question: "What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?" Matthew 27:22bComment

You failed to produce a single scripture that says the Jews were the chosen people.

I specifically addressed the incorrect teaching that the church has replaced Israel as God's chosen people. Others had already cited the clear scriptural references to Israel being God's chosen people. You interpreted the church as REPLACING Israel; I pointed out that the Scriptures clearly teach otherwise. God is not through with Israel. Romans 9 -11 clearly state that the church is a branch that has been grafted into the olive tree which is Israel. The church did not replace Israel; rather, it has become a branch in Israel. You did not respond to my posts.Regarding the 2nd Amendment:

Israel and the Jews are two separate things. You won't admit that. You keep referring to Old Testament scriptures obviously pointing to all Hebrews an then dishonestly trying to say they only pertain to the Jews and have not a single scripture to back that up.
