I used to think that way too. There is respect for the law here. As a result, there is order. Contrast that with CA.
When people routinely break little laws, it is only a matter of time until pure chaos ensues.
In my wildest dreams as a kid would I have never imagined a society (CA) where it was essentially legal to shoplift. Illegal immigration is encouraged. Bums and drug users roam the streets with no fear of punishment. I could go on and on.
Most people have become numb to the dystopia and it seems normal. CA is like hell on earth to me. The longer I am away, the clearer I can see it.
