I appreciate what you are saying but, it's not worth wasting a slot on a guy who wants to see how far he can get. These slots should be filled by guys who won't quit, and fail is not in their vocabulary.

    Good luck in your endeavors.

You gotta focus on making good decisions man.

You were waiting on medical clearance and thought that jumping off buildings was a good idea?

      No offense but...............think........

With your leg, even if you get past MEPS, you'll never make it through bootcamp. You'll see a lot more medical screening in bootcamp by real Doctors and Corpsmen who want you out if you're going to endanger yourself or others.

Go ahead and try it. If you wash out from the bad foot, then you'll know how to do things in the future to improve your chances of success, not only in the military, but in life in general. I don't think it would be a problem in boot camp unless you're not willing to try harder.

Holy crap, 5 foot 7 and barely over a buck?!?!?! One burger a day from Mickey D's ain't gonna cut it man. You need to start eating tons of red meat and supplement with a lot of protein powder and creatine.

If you end up going to 35M, I hope you English skills are outstanding.

Now, if you are serious about changing your hobbies (drug use), I recommend you tell the whole truth when you do your paperwork for your clearance. Nothing will get you kicked out faster than lying on your paperwork. Well, except for violence and more drug use.

Believe it or not, the truth shall set you free.

                  Take care,

                  Jerry.

                  P.S.: I am a 35M

So, you chose human intel with a history of drugs? Good luck on getting a clearance or any type of clearance. And don't forget... lying on a SF86 can get you in deep ****.

                    edit: JerryM said it already.

Personally, I have no problem with the occassional recreational use of pot however, if caught in the military its going to cost you a minimum of an Article 15 with the loss of a stripe or two, some $ and some additional duty.

The OP claims he has given up all drug use. Thats fine with me. Hopefully, it'll stay that way.
However, IMO the temptation to use/abuse drugs and alcohol are far greater in the military than civilian life with the additional stress of long overseas deployments, boredom, homesickness etc.
I just talked to a hard core sgt. who pissed hot(I'm in Iraq) and is getting discharged.

What the heck are you saying? Are you a native speaker of English? This partly explains why you scored so poorly on the ASVAB.
