I'll be 94 by then... If I'm still in this state I better be dead. I'm in for a buck only if the winnings and interest will go to my estate. I'm going to go with an earlier date to account for advances in robotics and maybe artificial intelligence implants for the human brain. Let's say October 15, 2050.

Most people get an email confirmation before getting their snail-mail letter, but not all. I'd estimate about 5% of the time a letter shows up without any email confirmation.
But based on your timeline, they probably haven't finished processing your app yet. Most (possibly even ALL) people who made corrections to their apps in August and September are still waiting.Comment

Short answer to your question is yes. I'm in the same boat.
It seems the staff reviewing these is dramatically cut back from the initial crush around the deadline, and the email responses are not consistently coming via email. Letters are coming in the mail without prior notice.
A lot of us are sitting here waiting for letters. I just want to take my gun to the range and zero the new optic without breaking the law...WTB: Beretta 92/M9 series (non-railed), Remington 1100 LT-20,Comment

This is why I am convinced there has been a reduction in staff who are processing the remaining applications. Prior to the deadline, supplemental edits were responded to almost immediately. Now, not so much (if at all). Most people get an email confirmation before getting their snail-mail letter, but not all. Got mine reset so I could add the make a few weeks ago. Still nothing. Just passed the 8 month mark since I first filled out the application. I just chuckle when someone complains about not having theirs completed when they just completed theirs end of June. And I grimace when someone says they applied end of June and already got their approval letter.Comment

You had sort of an excuse for the delay (missing manufacturer). I have been grimacing every time someone applied after early May and they have received their approval letter. All for a vanilla store-bought BBAW. Soo frustrating.Got mine reset so I could add the make a few weeks ago. Still nothing. Just passed the 8 month mark since I first filled out the application. I submitted my application on 6/17 , and regularly had been signing into CFARS to check on the status, for the last few weeks I've hit a snag where I cannot sign in and get a "Password Expired, Create a New Password Use Forgot Password Link"
When i click the reset password link, and enter my username and email it says "The entered information does not match a valid record"
anyone else had this problem, and rectified it ?Comment
