Bakersfield man is in trouble for trying to register something

They didn't say what it was he was trying to register exactly, but DOJ apparently made a vist and found all sorts of things at his house.

Does anyone have any more information?

Yes, he tried to register some SBRs with two suppressors.

Maybe it's because one agent does things differently than another, or because you didn't specify what you wanted to change. I can't guess. But my wife made a typo on her home address in her application, which prevented me from submitting a joint registration. She submitted an error report stating the problem (and noted proof of the correct address in the attached DMV registration) and an agent kicked back her registration so she could correct it. I was then able to submit a joint registration.

AR pistol heads up. My Spikes lower was rejected because I entered model "ST-15" and not "ST-15 PISTOL". So I had to correct and resubmit.

home built pistol SN - DOJ-issued required or not?

I've spent over an hour reading/searching. I've read conflicting info on this: does a home built pistol require a DOJ-issued required SN or is the one engraved when it was made accepted? The 16-page guide from here (updated 5/10/18) says DOJ-issued SN is required - I want to confirm that.

            Thanks.

What’s the current wait time right now to receive a serial number from DOJ for a home build 80% receiver?

And do you need to have the DOJ’s approval on AW registration before June 30to comply? Or do you just need to have the app submitted before then in order to make the deadline?

                AR Pistol via SSE

Question for those that register an AR pistol....

Any issues with submitting photos with an SB15 pistol brace? Or is it better to just leave the pistol brace off and have the buffer tube showing?

Also any issues if the AR pistol was purchased before the end of 2014 and obtained via Single Shot Exemption (SSE v1). Original owner directly purchased from local gun store and DROSed "handgun" under single shot category? With all required compliance such as bullet button.

Thanks. I tried reading / scanning for a few pages, but over 50 pages is hard to through.

Does anyone know whether or not an FN SLP semi-auto shotgun is required to be registered as an assault weapon? I do not have any fixed or attached magazines for it...other than the tube that can hold the shotshells.

No. Only shotgun with BB detachable magazine.

Does anyone know if I will run into any issues attempting to register an ar pistol that was made from an 80 percent receiver that has Hk 416D markings on it? It has all the correct info engraved on it (name, location, caliber, model, and doj issued cfars number - all of which is engraved on the front magwell).

It also has the following markings:
                                HK
HK416D. (Which is also the model that I decided to call my lower)
Cal. 5.56 mmx45. (Same caliber engraved as my personal info)

The right side of the magwell:
                                Heckler & Koch GmbH
