It's a tense time for all of us. But we can't be attacking the out of state retailers who are busting their asses to fill our orders. They are all overwhelmed. This was unexpected. We need to all hang together.California Native

Got notification that these guys have RESTOCKED the 20 and 25 rounders. Order up and get some! For anyone looking for mags for their M1A/M14, Thunder Mountain Custom just confirmed to me that they are shipping to California. They have the lowest price for Check-Mate mags that I have seen anywhere. The parkerized 20 rounders are priced at $22.00 each.
FYI, Check-Mate is the OEM manufacturer for Springfield's M1A mags.Comment

The best part is that they had all this momentum build up for almost 20 years, of grandfathered magazines - a supply slowly dwindling down to nothing. They were waiting, and finally went for total confiscation. Then suddenly - it got replenished probably more than it would have been if they were legal all along, in one swift crank of the valve. Now legal property argument is even stronger. And now they look weaker and more pathetic than ever.Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the burden of proof be on a theoretical future state prosecutor to prove that you did not purchase/manufacture/fish/find or otherwise legally obtain a given ammunition feeding device during or before the period when it was legal to do so? In other words, since there was any period of time at all, which there clearly was, any magazine made before now is possibly legal?
I could very well have missed something. Feel free to share your thoughts on the matter.Comment

Bud's website worked for me and I managed to place an order.
Not that I would recommend all running in at once and all but it seems to have calmed down at least a little.Comment
