No dealer in their right mind will ship hi cap mags to California until they get a letter of approval from the DOJ and a go ahead from their lawyers. It's just too risky.

guys gun mag warehouse order went through...but I kept having issues, so I ended up triple ordering...just a heads up once you push submit, it will go through.
I will vote for a donkey-sex maniac if he's pro-gun.

Regarding Guns Direct; I am not the one who made the entry on the spreadsheet but was informed by GD that the owners are taking orders but only doing so in cash. Perhaps this way should something go wrong, they can refund faster, also if they did CC, they would be out the transaction fee. They were nice enough to let me know personally but I have already acquired 30 round Hex mags this weekend via a private sale, not related to GD, great price for cash.
I still highly recommend Guns Direct, they are a great group of people. Yes, some of the youngsters lack the experience but the rest are top notch.
Other mags I have purchased were from Tombstone, Big Tex and Reeds (Hopefully). Good luck to us all and again, much appreciation to those who have worked to keep the spreadsheet updated.Last edited by vino68; 03-31-2019, 7:43 PM.Comment

It is absolutely great! Thank you for being a more active member, and thank you for bringing more to the site.
May I respectfully suggest that speculation about whether this is a "trap" for identifying AR owners is better left for a different thread/forum. Perhaps this one?
As the original poster (OP) of this thread, I would rather focus on getting feedback from other CalGunners on vendors that are and that are not shipping standard capacity magazines to California. Discussions about legality, assault weapons, and/or conspiracy theories might be better discussed elsewhere.
But you know, it's a free country. CalGuns belongs to all of us, so you do you.
+1
I really appreciate the time you have invested into this spreadsheet/thread. It has been incredibly helpful.Comment
