Can I just be skeptical for a second?

Is this trickery of some sorts? Seems to good to be true!

A way of finding out who in California has AR's? A trickery 'voluntary' registry?

Had to go back and look at my post count to make sure I wasn't one of the under 50 post fellas

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being relatively inactive on CalGuns. At the end of the day, it's just an internet forum.

What is grating is asking questions that have already been answered, providing duplicate/irrelevant/outdated/wrong "information", and posting queries in the inappropriate thread/forum (which tends to derail conversations and lead people down tangents). Those with more experience on/exposure to CalGuns tend to do less of this (though not necessarily so).

A forum is designed to bring people together to ask questions, learn info, and share info. Isn't it great that more people (even with low post counts) are being active now on the forums? Good for traffic to site, more marketplace stuff, more info, more camraderie and other things?

It is absolutely great! Thank you for being a more active member, and thank you for bringing more to the site.

May I respectfully suggest that speculation about whether this is a "trap" for identifying AR owners is better left for a different thread/forum. Perhaps this one?

As the original poster (OP) of this thread, I would rather focus on getting feedback from other CalGunners on vendors that are and that are not shipping standard capacity magazines to California. Discussions about legality, assault weapons, and/or conspiracy theories might be better discussed elsewhere.

But you know, it's a free country. CalGuns belongs to all of us, so you do you.

That's surprising. I like aim but they usually err on the safe side when it comes to California, including not selling stripped lowers.
