As the OP, it's really hard for me to keep up with all the replies, especially when folks are posting duplicate information.
You don't have to read through all 1300+ posts (like I've been doing), but please check out the online spreadsheet and do a "search this thread" before posting your update to see if said update is old news.
Posting your personal update, e.g. "I just got my shipping notice from Brownell's; I'm getting my mags on Wednesday!" is good-to-go. Announcing for the umpteenth time (several hours later) that Brownell's is shipping to California is not.
It's going to make it easier for all of us if we can keep this thread relatively uncluttered from repetitive (as well as off-topic) updates....

CalifPatriot? had a pretty good summary about Federal Appellate procedure and next steps in another thread.
In short, this stay pending appeal is before Benitez. I doubt he would stay given the way he worded his MSJ, but you never know. The PDF filing Disco referenced is pretty weak and draws no real substance other than "we want our way, because..." He could deny the stay almost immediately, then the AG files for an appeal and asks the CA9 (which may or may not grant the stay prior to hearing the appeal).See CP's post: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...4#post22830854
I think the longer we go without a stay, the more in our favor it is for 2A supporters in CA (and the retailers outside CA).
IF/When it goes en banc is where I think the stay will happen, but statists gunna' statist, so

Nah, most of us are plenty stocked up already. Hell I was stocked up before I even left CA, lol. Plenty of ways to acquire standard capacity magazines before this legal change. Besides there are a lot of local gun stores here in the SLC Valley, as well as a Scheels and two Cabela's stores within 20 minutes driving distance of my house. I went to two different shops today and magazines everywhere.
One of the shops has a Shadow 2 on the wall, $1249. I've seen it cheaper so I'll wait. [emoji14]
