How much did you buy? Did you pay cash or credit? Technically they need to check ID for credit cards. Most places don't but if your order is over a certain amount and due to "mag rush" atmosphere, they might be checking ID to make sure you're not a flipping mags using a stolen credit card.

Just around 80 bucks and I used a credit card. Normally when asked for ID on credit cards it takes maybe 10 seconds for them to check names match between card and ID and my picture. This definitely took longer than that. I had been texting with my boss for a couple minutes through the transaction.
