Dude. Do you honestly think this state gives a rats rear about costs? Look around. Read the paper, watch the news.

This state has been controlled by the Dems for so many years that's it's too far long gone for anyone to consider costs. No money? - Let's build a bullet train. No money? - lets give illegal aliens free healthcare and education. No money? - lets spend millions for a law that's already illegal.

This state has decent weather and that's it. Yee can have his border jumpers and gays. I'm gonna go puke right now.

            I can hear it now.

"This is going to cost the state how much?" Brilliant! One more reason to raise taxes, good work everyone, my job is done.

That's it. They'll take any chance to blame a OTD [Other than Dems] for the states failures. I have to go puke again.

Edit: California is a prime and pristine example of what happens when the Democratic party rears its ugly head. High taxes, outrageous car licensing fees, un - affordable education, un - obtainable health insurance for the working class (do your homework), etc etc. Major mfg's have left this state and more will follow.

It's time for ALL good people to leave this ***** pot and search for life in a better place. I can't wait for the day to sit back and watch Yee and others like him slip in the very own ***** pile they are so proud of today.

I just looked at who constitutes the Appropriations Committee and found that one of my former teachers(US Government) when I went to high school, Chris Norby, is on there.

I would like to go to his office in Fullerton and speak to him directly to express my desire for him to not vote for this unconstitutional bill.

                  Is this even a possibility?

If so, can someone provide me some insight/bullet points(pun intended) and succinct directions as to what I should/should not say or mention if I could make this happen?

If bwiese/wildhawker/hoffmang/any C3 leaders care to PM me, I would be more than happy to put my boots on the ground to help out in any way I can!

At this point Yee will hold on to the bitter end. Admitting he didn't quite understand what he was doing would cause him to lose face. He'll clutch onto the breast of the AG, and anyone else who can soothe him and tell him, "You did good". Funny thing is, 3 months ago, he could probably give 2 sh*ts about guns. Now it's his crusade, not because he chose it mind you, but because he figures, "Uh oh! Well.. in for a penny, in for a pound."

Just off the top of my head some bullet points I can think of:

-No rifle with a bullet button has ever been used in a crime to commit murder
-No compensation for those who legally purchased these firearms
                            -No grandfathering
-What this bill purports to ban 'assault rifle' is already illegal as these rifles are not select fire rifles
-If bill was amended to compensate the forfeiture of these rifles, where exactly is the state going to get the funds?

Sorry. Basically, they all vote yes - helping this further towards Browns desk. Highly doubt anyone on the committee will do their homework on this bill. "Oh", "This is about guns","Let's ban them".

Chris was a very thoughtful and approachable guy from way back, even as high school prez, as I recall, back at Fullerton High Class of 68.
Heck, even though I live far from him I might just drop him a line.
