    Bingo!
He's a lackey that is getting attention and consideration far above his worth and power.

Engaging him is giving him way too much profile and power over emotions on our side. Best to ignore him, not get sucked into childish insults and focus on the issue.

So did Yee amend the bill or did CBS just get an early look at the draft?

Dont' ya love the way they call these "assault weapons" and "they belong on the battlefield"? Well give Yee and BHO a crate of our neutered ARs with BBs. Have them personally issue them to a seal team in Afganistan. I assure you they will be walking funny with them shoved up their ...

I keep seeing a new amendment quoted, but the sb249 bill page still shows the last amendment date as 6/27.

Where did the new information come from? How reliable is it?

I made some Stop SB249 flyers (see tiny attachment) to pass out at my local gun shops. I have hi-res PDFs if anyone wants them and can suggest a way to host them for download.

Does the latest amendment ban my featureless centerfire detachable mag semi-auto rifle?

I am providing a picture of my rifle to show the improbability of a featureless ban is, unless Yee and Co really want to throw us into the briar patch.

Continue to oppose SB249 because it is still senseless and unnecessary regulation, but realize the slippery slope they are positioning themselves in should they decide on a broader ban than even the as yet unseen amendments stipulate.

I wonder, if it came from the factory with a BB installed (ie. M&P sport) is it still considered a conversion kit?

SB249 is no longer about conversion kits. They are full on trying to ban the bullet button.

I would say, simply - "Colt AR-15's" came from the factory that way, and are still considered AW's

Unfotunatley, at this time, we have no real idea what SB249 is going to attempt.
Started as an Ag bill. Became a converstion kit bill, then a mag magnet bill, now it is supposedly a "loop hole" bill. The reality is that they want to get rid of all semi auto rifles and I think all guns period. I think the problem they are running into is the precident that SCOTUS has set recently. Yee said it before the CO incident, he wasn't planning on getting so much opposition and made it about the mag magnet. Now he is knee deep in this thing and is expending a ton of time trying to figure out what the heck to do. Either way, I think he knows he faces a real fight in the courts once this bill passes, whatever it "bans."

He won't face the court. We will. And I highly doubt this will in any way impact his run for SF mayor either. Knowing how bad these incessant bills are hasn't stopped any of them from pushing them anyway.

From what the CBS report said a couple days ago, they would have to open registration (of AWs) again, and that allows use of features and no BB?

I agree, it wont impact his run for SF mayor. I do not live in SF but I know that there is an increasing number of people that do not like Yee. I think he is loosing political steam accross a broad spectrume. Let keep up the pressure on the SB249 front!

Kamala Harris will face the court! "we will?" who is WE?

He was already rejected for mayor of SF!
