"lost"?? if the uoc ban becomes law then it means more ammo for shall issue LTC, CA will gain at least shall issue concealed only but at least everyone will get the chance to carry.

Unloaded OC is pretty useless anyway

It's funny, but that's the second time tonight I've heard that comment.

It happens from time to time.

I checked with some sources. The average number of bills that "pass" without being signed or vetoed by the Governor per year is 1. So far this year there has only been one but the Governor wrote a letter about it.

Governor Brown will weigh in on all the bills before Midnight tonight. The only open question is whether we'll know about them before tomorrow morning.

REALLY? Why is that? That's like saying Barrack Hussein Obama deserves respect because he is the president. WRONG! Respect is earned.
Using gun control to stop crime is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline!
You don't have to get permission to exercise a RIGHT. If you have to get permission or can be told no by the government it is no longer a right. IT IS A PRIVILEGE!

Well, I'm really curious to see how this turns out. Two words give me hope.

I think we are screwed, but there is always hope, wait B.0. had the audacity to take it away. I don't think we will find out til tomorrow, I agree with some other posts and think he will sign a couple and veto 1 or 2. I see it like this: open carry ban~signed; ammo registration~vetoed; the others up in the air. I sure hope I am wrong and he vetoes them all.

No, I'm at least optimistic since they were not signed with the 'public safety' bills. The strategic benefit of announcing a veto late is that all the 'other issue interested followers' (including reporters) have tuned out. Vetoing the gun bills doesn't greatly help him other than perhaps doing the right thing according to his own beliefs (if that is his opinion).
False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

Might be worth looking in to. The liquor laws may not allow it. Liquor might have to be purchased in person at a store.
