Considering the El Paso shooter was a registered Democrat and the Dayton shooter was a member of the Central Ohio Socialist Rifle Association - are they equating democrats/socialists with white supremacists or does the media conveniently leave out they were both Democrats.

Not to mention the guy drove close 600 miles from Dallas to El Paso to do it.

Democrats can be, and often are, racists too. That's not the point.

The point is that if they are busy accusing gun owners of racism, you don't go on public forums blasting how minorities are the problem. Whether they are or not.

If I go to the doctor because I keep getting splinters in my eyeballs, and he tells me "Oh, the splinters in your eyes aren't the issue, the REAL problem is that you have cancer." He might be right that your systemic problem is going to kill you, but you're not in the ER for your cancer. You probably won't appreciate being told the splinter in your eye should be solved after the cancer is taken care of first.

Mass shootings are, by the numbers, not as much of a problem as gang warfare. And real, uncensored statistics, while unpleasant for many to think about, might be useful in certain contexts and circumstances. Bringing them up when the rest of the world is calling you a racist is not. one. of. them.

If you feel attacked for your race/religion/politics, you're not alone. Just keep in mind the Russians have a vested interest in getting you to feel attacked, and anyone who does attack you might be victims of Russian propaganda just the same.

Who cares what the rest of the world says about us. If you let foreigners' opinions control you, then you're the one most susceptible to foreign propaganda here.

I am a minority and I did not feel this thread attacked minorities at all. It attacked the racist democrats' deception and hypocrisy to link whites and violence while ignoring much more rampant violence committed by minorities. By disarming law abiding Americans, democrats are destroying this country much more than "Russians."

I agree that the people doing these murders are evil and there is something wrong with them. I don't believe getting ride of guns will stop evil.

I also take offense to being grouped in with white supremacy. That is just as prejudice as saying minorities are all criminals. Prejudice breeds prejudice. Everytime the first thing someone who is confronted with facts that don't go their way is to pull the race card just adds to pushing people away. Like the boy who calls wolf, then when actual racism happens people dimiss it. That is one of the points of what is called "generational truma". In the season’s third episode, Chapter III, a family of Trump voters is being given a makeover by a group of gays in a parody of the Netflix series Queer Eye called the U.S. of Gay.
