Yes and I wouldn?t trust that. Place for anything let alone body armoir.

Plates for IIIa? Most IIIa is soft, if you're going to put up with the hassle that comes with plates, get at least III so you have rifle protection.

A follower sent us another BBPP SOCOM plate to demo, and wanted us to shoot 16" 308 threats at it. I would say it did very well given it's overall thickness and light weight

John going to send a 3s9m to test too? Looking at the shooter plates at 7.2lb for the 4S17M vs. 5.3lb for the 3s9m, that's near 2 pounds per plate or almost 4 pounds in total. Looking at Highcom's "Guardian Threat Chart," the only difference is lack of protection from ".30 caliber armor piercing (AP) bullets (M2 AP)." A lot of weight savings for a rare ammo for civilians so I'm leaning towards the 3s9m, thoughts?
