    Same place a week later....

Looks like I got a new lucky hat!!! Loving the results out of this 6.8. Shot was taken 40 yds out.

I buy a tag every year up in Oregon hoping to see one.
few years back I didnt buy a bear tag, and that was the year I saw 25 yards and he had no Idea I was there.
Oh yeah, he's going on the wall of the Cabin. He's illegal to have in CA. Communists state!

I hunt a zone where lead free is required and the only decent lead free I found for 6.8 is Hornady Full Boar ammo. Very happy with the results thus far...

Here's a picture from a 2 day hunt we did on a private ranch up in north eastern Oregon this past March. This was the result from just the morning hunt....needless to say we did very well. Got lots of pheasant, chukar, quail and hungarian partridge.

Second picture was from my Elk hunt last October in SW Montana in the Bitteroot valley. This was my buddies Elk, a nice 5x5. Weighed in at about 350lbs after field dressing. I'm going to NW Colorado in about 3 weeks to go Elk hunting again...I WILL be successful this year.

Poor guy got a taste of the 6.5 SAUM at 349 yards. He opened his mouth and I couldn't resist!
