Gave up on drawing an AZ out of state rifle Elk/deer tag years ago. I buy the over the counter Archery deer tag good for 3 months of hunting. The last two years at moms have been world class Coues deer hunting. They are fast at dogging arrows.

I've heard they are tough with a rifle and obviously tougher with a bow. Kudos to you.

Congrats, 100" coues deer are no joke. My dad drew a out of state Coues tag this last year, with no points. It just depends on what hunt your drawing for. There are always left over general rifle Coues tags left over.

Went pig hunting on public land with a buddy Saturday. We both got pigs. He got a nice sow and I got a good boar.

Can't wait to get out again and see if the streak is still going. It's great having a flexible semi-retired schedule.
