I need to get my butt in gear for 2017. Sometimes, I wish we had pigs here.

    Goals for 2017 are:
    2 antelope
    1mule deer
    1 elk
Way more fish than this past year.

In another country the M1-30 Carbine is still a great rifle to hunt. My father tells me his moments with the Carbine when hunting is successful just with the ball round fmj due to hp haven't exist yet. Dad said he took down a few Buffalo in the country his was from just with the Carbine. But in today time everyone is all about high power rifles and talks that some Caliber/Cartage is to weak to kill and has to be placement shoot. However a 22short or LR can put a Bull down with one shot. Believe me or not but until you hit to the slaughterhouse you'll see what I mean. Those Deer is to small and the skin itself is thin so it's easier for the bullet to penetrate. Will this is just a photo to show ya that 30 carbine will get the job done just like a high power rifles. This animal is a bit bigger than the few months old cattles. Who knows the name of this animal by chance... It's not a Goat but it's style Terrain is exactlylike a Goat but only in the jungle. Call it what ya want but it does have a name for it. Rare for most but not by few.

So, one month ago I wrote an article on how fishing affects human health. The scientists have proven a positive effect on health. Since a person is in the open air, he gets the richest supply of oxygen, which has an excellent effect on the cardiovascular system. Fishing normalizes pressure and pulse. Why is fishing referred to sports? It useful for muscles. In this process, they receive a uniform load.

That is my hope for this year. Last year was 1 deer.

This year I drew a buck tag for SW Idaho and 2 antelope for a unit in Western Wyoming. I'm waiting for draw results for second chance tag for elk. If not, I'll get a regular tag for elk.

I'm recovering from spending 5 weeks in the hospital so that is the roadblock for now.

I'll be happy with less than my original goals given the medical issues of this summer.

I taught a newbie how to dive last weekend. He got his first Abalone in 20' of water!!! What a champ. First time diver, first limit!

All 3 of us got limits in less than an hour!
