First day hunting in Idaho. Tikka T3 in .243 95gr Nosler. 5 rabbits for me. My buddy 6. Hunting in -5 was a new experience much different than SoCal.

Welcome to Idaho hunting. It's cold, but that's what clothes and gloves are for.

Thanks! New hunting clothes will be purchased! Something with wind block. It actually wasn't bad until the wind hit me. It just cut right thru me!

Ha thats true. Somebody at worked asked me if I knew why idaho was so windy, his answer Utah blows and Montana sucks. Idaho jokes love it.

First Archery Hunt.....I'm hooked! So much harder than hunting with a rifle. At least when using spot and stalk approach. A much higher sense of accomplishment than I've felt hunting in a long time. My key takeaway is that you gotta earn it with a bow. If you're kinda tired of big game gun hunting, I highly recommend taking up Archery. Now I gotta try for a deer hunt. I'm really gonna have to step up my stalking game.

Hunting trip of firsts. After my first successful Archery Hunt, I gave it a go with a revolver. Also fun, but I think I'm hooked on the Bow. At least for now. I'm gonna be eating and giving away a ton or wild boar meat for a while.

Finally able to get out of the Santa Cruz Harbor for the first time in a long time. It's been completely shoaled forever it seems. The combination of the storms and the dredge continuously breaking has had the harbor mouth at about 12" deep for a good month. Anywayz Got a 30lb Ling. Ive gotten them bigger up North but this is my personal best in the Monterey bay. NOW I WISH CRAB SEASON WOULD OPEN ALREADY!!!!!

                                Here kitty kitty...
