Here are the pics of some of the steelhead I have managed to pull in and get a picture of on the Lower American River. I really enjoy having a river this close with some really nice fish! The pics are in the order that I caught these fish..... I have been skunked on that last three days out. Well one tug but that is not even a hook up so I dont count that because it just not a hook up

I did manage to lose about 40 fish + or - had a pretty good year on the American being its my first time I really took out my Sage One #7 Spey Rod

Hope some of you that have been out and got to hook some fish and play them. I know its nice to have a fish in hand for a pic but to have the simple joy of just hooking a fish beats any day at work

I have been out for about 4 weeks straight and enjoyed every minute of it!

Went out to Irvine Lake last month. It was my 1st time trolling for trout. I caught 4 all together. My buddies were pissed. =P
