You got him with a handgun that's awesome and it's challenging to you should be happy.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

I had no choice on the handgun. I had a pretty major wrist surgery end of August and just had my cast taken off a couple of weeks ago. No strength in left hand to shoulder a rifle. i must say, it was much easier "hiking with guns" with that revolver than previous years lugging around my rem 700. I mentioned to my wife I was thinking about getting a D-11 tag so I could try for another before season closed and I got the stink eye.

Heh, if you'd bore witness to my shooting in WY this year you wouldn't feel so bad.

Nice looking hog and good shooting. As a former infantryman however, i literally have a physiological response to seeing your rifle barrel pointed at you in the photo. Please be careful.

Can someone travel to another country for hunting and take his gun with him?

Yes, I do it in Africa all the time. It's easier for a visitor to bring a gun into New Zealand than it is for a visitor to bring one into the US. I usually don't bring my own guns to New Zealand because I go there for work and sometimes I can't get a way to hunt all the time. But, I have lots of friends there who will loan me one to use when I can get away.
