Just picked up a CRKT CEO. Slim and light, should make for a decent light-use pocket knife. $40 on Amazon.

I stumbled across this website and it looked very nice. https://www.deejo.com/. Please ignore the hipster and check out the knife. I got the 27 gram size and it is making a very useful pocket knife. Ridiculously sharp right out of the box, but I suspect I will need to put a new edge on it before too long. I am thinking I may want the 37 gram size for more serious tasks at work. Company is in France, ordered on Sunday, in my hands on Tuesday.

I had one similar to this I got from TJ one year when I was a kid - was probably $10. I think the slider button was on the frame flat, and it was woodland camo. It worked, spring never broke for years AFAIK. Have no idea what happened to it. Maybe I finally wore it out, but even the cheap ones last quite a while. Had one side folder with a flush square button. I think it was a Boker knock-off. That one was fun for a side folder. The spring was almost powerful enough to spin it out of your hand when it opened up.Last edited by crufflers; 08-13-2019, 11:31 AM.Leave a comment:

I picked up this Cobratech OTF last year at a gunshow. $70 and it's held up so far with lots of opening and closing to see if it's going to fall apart or not. The blade has a safety so if you're opening it and it hits something it releases. Good to have if you open it against your leg... just a small hole. After a year of playing with it (I open and close it repeatedly while waiting on whatever) the blade wobble is still the same.

And no, this knife does not reside in or visit CA.Leave a comment:
