I ordered one of these little satin babies and a black blade one.

If you are trying to order one and Paypal is not working, use the BUSSECOMBAT page instead of scrapyardknives - glitch.

Nice. I got black sheaths with both. They said you can only get the color blades right now and later will be only black... still got black blade. That is classic SYKCO to me. I love colored Resiprene-C though.

          Slicey thin blade.

No sheaths for mine will most likely go with kydex from buybrown.

Yeah, I figured I would try their leather for a change. We will see how the retention is. I have other non-Busse choppers that have that style leather sheath micarta handles and they are OK... not much retention other than heavy weight keeping them in. I figured for $25 give it a shot... with RES-C it'll probably have plenty of friction.

Yea I gave one a try with another blade and ended up ordering a sheath from Mr Brown anyway but now I got two options for it.

One of my Hard Edge Knives has that... I have a asian appearance embossed leather slip for it and one of his kydex he threw in because I asked. Options are good but kydex and a Tek-loc isn’t going anywhere.

Just received a Fellhoelter No One folder. Brian is one of my very best friends and an award winning custom maker (Cover of Blade magazine). He's a Tool Maker by training and his tolerances and attention to detail is amazing. He doesn't make many knives anymore as he's developed a line of bolt action pens (Fellhoelter Ti Bolt) that takes up most of his time.

This model is one he only made a few of. I decided I needed one a couple years ago when I was traveling for business (Pre Covid) as it's really solid and has a 3" blade, which, while smaller than I normally carry, is legal pretty much anywhere except NY (it's a lock blade).

It's got a flat ground CPM154 blade with a beautiful hand rubbed finish. It's a liner lock design with Lightening Strike Carbon Fiber scales and checkered Ti bolsters that are anodized a nice bronze color. The clip is Brian's super deep design and has no visible screws. It's a beautiful little gem, but a very capable knife in a small form factor.

Just received my Hogue/Sig Sauer EX-02 knife. Yes, that Hogue that makes grips for your firearms. After the whole benchmade fiasco, needed something to replace my adamas blade. Found out that Hogue made blades and decided to give it a shot. It has 3.75" blade, 154 CM steel and G10 grips. Usually I prefer thumb stub knives but wanted to give a flipper a try. It's about a medium weight, not too heavy but not too light.

I picked up this original FSSF veteran owned V42.

It's not a utility knife, it's designed for one thing.
But for that one intended purpose, I have no doubt it would serve it's owner well.
                              It's comfortably retired now.

Knife came with his service-discharge papers, patches and some photographs.

I added the original Ulster folder (US marked) - they were used for Ski bindings as they had a rare (for the time) 1943 Phillips head screwdriver.

I collect WW2 fighting knives, this set-up is quite a special one.

This is a reproduction of the sticker the FSSF carried, the idea was to leave it on dead German and Italian soldiers -
                              It translates roughly to:
"The worse is yet to come."

(I'll find an original sticker at some point.)
                              Pitfighter.
