I admit to have been looking at new paring knives as a way of therapy these days. Any great paring knife suggestions would be appreciated!Comment

Well if we are asking for recommendations, I could use one for a filet/boning knife for meat. Just got a new smoker need to up my knife game. Prefer maybe two knives one in 6 inch and one in 8 inch blade length.
ThanksComment

If you are into steels... I know North Arm was the only 9" fillet knife I could locate to give as gift that was made of something a little better... S35VN steel for the model I bought. The knife and sheath were gorgeous, but not something you'd be afraid to beat up.Comment

I have another one of these arriving next Friday... pre ordered it for $101 which saved me about $22 - nice deal. I have a few bayonets for Mausers, Mosins, etc... bayonets never really excited me, BUT it is 2020. You never know when a bayonet might be useful. If you have one, might as well have two. I like these.

No prob. I’d probably go
utilitarian and get some inexpensive Dexters, but I don’t care much about fancy kitchen knives. I have a lot of Dexter Pro knives and they work. I like the cheap KAI’s too. I have a couple KAI kitchen knives bought recently that were $8-$20 IIRC. I’ve used them for whole chicken and Tritip and similar grilled or smoked items.

Actually been doing some research and came across a brand that is made in China yea yea i know but they are getting great reviews even from chefs so I'm gonna give them a try. Dalstrong Shogun Series. And they wont break the bank. Which means more money for guns and Busse's.Comment

Got my other OKC USMC Bayo - this one has some character in the parkerization and machining on the barrel lug. I like these things. Last pic to show the ceramic rod sharpener under the Molle. These things remind me, I need to get a Glock knife too... I bet the Glock knife isn't built like these, but I haven't handled one.
