Im totally not trying to be a dick but 90 bucks for an 80% ar lower? You can get a finished one for that and not have to mess with it. Granted you have to deal with a ffl and pay dros but still, am I missing something? I thought those went for 20-30 bucks?

missing the point

building AR's from an 80% is not about cost, as you point out, its about a few things (in no specific order), From my point of view

1. no paper trail
2. pride of building it yourself
3. option to choose your type of finish / colour
4. you can make the tollerances better / tighter than mass market lowers
5. it just damn fun!

And lastly Woody is a stand up guy, would not hesitate to purchase from

Compare apples to apples my friend and you will see these are very competitive if not great prices on 80%....
