What is the best available lock for this trigger guard, or is there one?

    Thanks!

Are you looking for a Mag Lock? I have 2 PRK Arms Mag Locks that are nice n beefy, milled not stamped. At the current prices of S-12's I wont be buying one soon so I'd be happy to sell one or both. PM me if interested.

I think that is the kind that came on my gun. I am looking for one compatible with my conversion trigger guard.

Check out OC Armory as well http://www.ocarmory.com/calcdv2.htm.

The are a CA company and they have a few mag locks they have designed in house.

This will work, you will need to use 1" long 6-32 screws. When I was at PRK we did some testing and found many of the locks to be weak and could bend with very little resistance. I don't work there anymore and don't care either way just be careful and make sure those will not bend with just your hand.

I had one and couldn't remove the mag with just a finger, but that would definitely be a concern. I found somewhere that Horn redesigned these. Mine was seriously tight and fit very flush so there was nothing to get leverage on.

                      Your mileage may vary.

I got the same response from them a while back.

In fact I think that type of trigger guard is the sole reason duraglock extended the lock and added the 3rd set of screw holes.
