When I was in Pahrump 5 - 8 July, El Jefe was closed up tight. No lights, no cars, no nothing...

Also, I am a fan of Carmelo's just west of McDonalds, next to Johnny's...

And of course the restaurant at the Winery...

No phone, no lights, no motor car,
          Not a single luxury,
          Like Robinson Crusoe,
          It's primitive as can be.
I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.

I drove by each night, Sunday through Wednesday night, and never saw a light or car in the parking lot...

Maybe I was there too late, or too early, I don't know.

A search on Bing resulted in El Jefe's being permanently closed.

I called El Jefe today and someone answered. They were open today and were closing at 8 pm. Someone else please confirm.

Losing El Jefe would be a big loss for me!

I was there two weeks ago and #1 & 2 were open and serving customers. I usually go to the original. WAY better service and food. They had massive flash floods a couple of weeks ago and it put some business out till everything got cleaned up..

                                Front Sight Oregon?

The iconic Oregon Thunder Ranch itself is on the market and the Thunder Ranch base of operations is going to move to a location TBD.
