BTW, does anyone know who they sell the brass to? That is a WHOLE BUNCH of once fired factory brass.

I seriously doubt it. Brass gets recycled. Most of it is smashed up between people stepping on it and the rocks.

That is true. I was told about it by a RM many years ago. The brass collection is performed by a third-party and FS gets $x for each bucketful. It was enough to pay the salaries of multiple RMs.

That would explain why they were so mad at me for picking up unused bullets during waiting periods at my last class.

Nevada is on its 1st phase of opening up the state as of today. Businesses are opening up including shooting ranges. Social distancing is still emphasized. Not sure how this is going to affect FS, but I can see ways to make classes work. Maybe using every other lane, and no more student-coach arrangement unless they are from one single household. To cope with the reduced student number per range, FS may have to cut down the instructors number too such that there will only be one rangemaster and one additional instructor and/or line coach. Of course these are just my ideas. What’s yours?

I’m just glad to be back home in NV. I’ve been cooped up in CA since this shelter-in-place happened since I work there.

Every other lane would work. Wonder how they will do it. Hope to get out there in Sept for two weeks. Take the 4 day and 2 day skill builder.

Absolutely no scientific evidence that and significant transmission occurs outside. No need for every other lane.

I'd like every other lane all day, every day. I think they got us packed in there a little too tight. Especially for doing after actions.

Just got me an FS target - does anyone know how high they are set up?

In the photo, the IPSC target on the left is 5-ft at the shoulders...

                          Thanks in advanced!!

I usually set it up at Face to Face level. Looks OK from the picture.
