I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

You are down south. Run over to Norco and check that place out. I've heard NOTHING but great stuff about their matches. Just go over with some eyes and ears and see what it's all about. All the reading on the intertoobz will not do squat till you see it in person. They all sound like a great bunch of peeps down there and i'm sure you would be welcomed with open arms.

      Various 1911s.
      Some revolvers.
      Some rifles.
Back to owning some of those "polymer" guns.

      They see me rollin'
      They hatin'

Without a doubt, Steel Challenge is the best place to start and a 22LR pistol is the best to start with.

Much lower initial investment as far as equipment s concerned and lower ammo cost too.

The format is very simple and never changes After 2 or 3 months, you will be much more comfortable with the whole competition thing.

Then go shoot Norco Run n Gun.
Anyone press will hear the fat lady sing.

Then ya better buy 2. Make sure you get her one that fits her hand.
Soon you guys will be shooting competitively, to see who does the dishes & cleans the bathroom!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Yup! It's best when you do it together. On the down side I had to buy her a Springer 9mm 1911 of her own so I could get my .45's back.

thats the trick.. get yer girl/wife/whatever her own gun that she loves.. and after that you are home free for whatever you want... be warned.. she can and will spend all of your gun money on her ammo..
