I was being sarcastic about him being your bud. It was only a matter of time before he got DQed. He was on the edge many times. He made the comment that he was always at the top of his class. Gayl, one of the guys downrange, made the comment that it was because he was home schooled.

I always get leery when ppl tell me they are the top of their class in anything, but I usually judge people on their actions more than their word anyway.. and that's what I try to do.. let you judge me on my actions.. as goofy as they can be at times... (He's shooting WHAT at the BARC?!)Comment

I don't know about this situation but.....
I wouldn't want to be around someone who has the attitude "nobody touches my weapon". Get over it, it's a tool, everybody here has one, its not special and neither are you. I'll grab it our of you hands and beat you over the head with it if your misuse of it endangers others on the range.
What a douche...where are my pistol mags?Comment

I agree that loading a mag while others are down range is dumb, Tho if my rifle is slung on my back and anyone comes up and tries to handle my rifle they would get a swift elbow to the nose the day before yesterday.
but since I dont do stupid stuff at ranges then theres no reason for anyone coming up and attempting to do something with my firearm.Comment

Loading a mag with people downrange is perfectly acceptable, just dont stick it into a gunI agree that loading a mag while others are down range is dumb, Tho if my rifle is slung on my back and anyone comes up and tries to handle my rifle they would get a swift elbow to the nose the day before yesterday.

I think the overall lesson here.. is Raymond jumped to a bunch of wrong conclusions, and raised a fracas over nothing. And few people read that part, and just keep jumping on the original post.
Rumors don't help.. either you know or you don't.Guns should not have batteries

OK,
it was "supposed" to be a hypothetical question. ("Lets say...").
No names were mentioned, and no ranges were mentioned.
All of a sudden, all this stuff started coming out of the woodwork, and folks were taking this in every direction. (Truths, facts, MythBusters, ACORN, and even the ACLU got involved).
All I wanted was a response to a hypothetical situation for my own, personal, information.
Crazy where posts can lead, huh?
Oh well.

Not like me, who can shoot off my mouth without thinking, Todd is always a gentleman @ Concord. That'ss why I'm always wary of him. Plus, he or his daughter can outshoot me in their sleep.I don't know about this situation but.....

Funny, coz that's how I read your OP! But I got caught up in the drama & forgot it was hypothetical. There must be a name for this phemomenom...OK,

In Christ: RaymondActually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
