The problem with people like IGGY is the more they get away with the more careless they get. The investors he tried to last rip off have brought IRS down on him it sounds like! What would look better for the Biden camp than taking down a Gun training facility owner multi million air tax cheat?

Vinnie....you and I are saying some similar things, but the place does NOT have to shut down to work out. I agree...no one is to blame but Dr. P...only he is responsible for the failures, but gentrifying the long timers vs the newbs is not the answer. If we, as a group, IRRESPECTIVE of Dr P's mistakes, aren't willing to do the reset to keep it running, then we deserve what we get. We both agree that Piazza MUST go. If the ONLY way to make that happen is to shut down FS, ok, but your assertion that if it stays open then you get to keep freebies and everyone else pays, that's just plain BS. I joined in 2013. I'm out a total of about $1200, but I've gone 6 times. I got a good deal.

The fact is that all of us got our money's worth, with a few exceptions. If you paid $10K for your membership 10 years ago and never went, that's your fault. If you paid $200 for the membership last year and went twice, you got a screaming deal. If you purchased an upgrade under this business model, knowing that it seemed shady, then I'm sorry. We all got suckered.

As I've said all along...Piazza has to go, but there has to be a way to shut him out. If the place shuts down, then you lose the same amount I do: everything. And that's crap.

Dr. Pizza boy had been a scam artist from the get go. I was there back in 2008 or 2009 when the guys jumped up and yelling at Pizza Boy from his first fraud from a community he was building. 10 custom homes. That was classic.

I even threatened to sue him after he owed me 9 guns for selling so many Diamond memberships, for almost 2 years... he didn't know that I knew his distributor and that he just didn't want to pay... he kept saying they were out of stock. Well a personal screen shot of all the guns being in stock didn't help him much.. then he banned me from upgrading any of my memberships, lol. I was so sad I couldn't continue his Ponzi scheme...

I even heard why he is getting sued... again he is a liar.

I know his pro shop he had almost 4 million in store credits, he then canceled all of that and removed anything worth buying from his shop... total joke.

From day one his business model was unsustainable. He couldn't even make payroll sometimes. Several of my friends just left because of all his BS! You can't sell lifetime memberships and survive.... a per class charge makes sense, but now what he did, BLAMES US FOR NOT BAKING HIS A OUT!!!!

            WHAT JOKE. LATER PIZZA BOY

What does being a scientologist have anything to do with what's going on, assuming it is even true? I have never seen or heard anything to do with scientology at FS.

Heck, totally opposite as a matter of fact. In scientology you do NOT get free memberships for life, you have to keep paying in order to advance.

Amen to that. Maybe I'll donate a dollar, but looking at the lawsuit he's in the wrong so [emoji1745]

Dude, you're really starting to sound like you're obsessed with Dr. Piazza. You've made your points over and over and over and over and over and we get it. Really though, time to just go for a walk, take a break, have a drink or do something else. Find a new thread to live in. You're super annoying, and that's coming from ME, someone who is pretty darn annoying around here.

I'm not supporting Piazza and what not, but anytime someone says anything positive about the training you come back with some half-cocked straw man argument that isn't even relevant to what the person said.

Admittedly, Piazza’s business model is flawed. On the other hand, for the $ 80.00 Commander membership I possessed, I received some good training and greatly enjoyed my 4 day course. I hear a whole of whining here by folks who, most likely, didn’t have large sums tied up in the training they received. Hopefully the place comes out of the current tailspin. Truth be told, and assuming the quality of training doesn’t tank, $ 500.00 for a 4 day is cheap.

Actually, it is $300 for 4 days unless it changes again.

                            IN!!!

But I bet this thread will last longer than FS stays open. Hate to say that but, like others have said, he didn't really have a solid business plan and totally relied on puffery and promises he couldn't keep. Funny.......if he instead charged everyone $50 or $100 for all those upgrades he gave away in November how many would have jumped on it? Wouldn't that give him the big cash infusion that he didn't get when he asked?
^^^The above is just an opinion.

                              My prediction:

He needs to get all members off the all classes for free for life terms. The Gold Status path is the way to do that. He's going to make better and better deals to pull legacy members over to Gold Status (or whatever future names it changes to). Training quality for Gold and non-Gold members will remain the same. Maybe he plays games with the background check fee like eventually prevents using credits for it.

As he keeps offering deals of FS Buck etc, he'll once again starts inflating the supply to infinity. Right now the FS Buck value is close to USD parity for ammo etc. It won't stay like that. How much ammo you purchase will either be limited or the price inflated. The same for other things you can use FS Bucks for. Any of this sound familiar? The fees that can be paid with FS Bucks may go up or down, but what won't change is at least one fee (likely a daily fee) that must be paid in USD. This is the only real fee he cares about and is his protected cash flow.

This opinion, $5M Patronage Points, and $2 get you a small coffee at the FS food truck.
