Why are you complaining on and on, ad nauseam? If you have been there dozens of times, you saw value there as you kept going back. $5K divided by however dozens of times is pretty inexpensive per trip or training day.

Just got back to the hotel, and I am glad that I took the opportunity to go ahead with my 3-day private training...

Anyways - while I will defer my impressions of my 3-days in a later post - I just want to share day #3, which was an HCM experience (I always wanted to take the HCM Prep but never got the chance, so, opted for a 1-day "experience" class)... (*) First 2-days was practical rifle.

The instructor was John Reynolds, an HCM himself. He said that the standard HCM Prep was a 4-day class for first timers, thus, he would need to do an evaluation before working on the Prep-only curriculum.

We started with the Basic Test cold, the one used in the 4DDHG. I was apprehensive because I never did the test with the turners as I didn't go through Skill Builder. I passed the test with 6-down as I misjudged my POA at 15-yards. Dang! And I was hoping for another Snowman... Oh well...

We proceeded with some drills as a review for the Advanced Test (which is obviously going to be a first time for me). I DGed the test with 11-down (11, 0, 0, 0). Feedback to me was that if I only used as much of the allotted time for the 25- and 50-yard pairs (I could do the turning Ragged Hole Drill from the holster with a pair in 6-sec all the time), I could have made a Clean run... Oh well...

Good times, huh? My 4 day private with my nephews and son-in-law with Reynolds last Sept was awesome. He imparted drills that helped greatly.

What do F$ actually buy in terms of goods and services?

It's like hoarded arcade tokens, and the games keep getting crappier and crappier every time you go back. Soon, all that will be left to spend them on will be pin ball machines before creditors close the doors.

Well, I took a drink of the Kool aid and paid the $50 ransom for me and my wife last night. Got email confirm right away last night and called FS today during lunch to book privates.

Had to wait on hold for about 5 mins. and then had to leave a message for Dani to call me back. Well, she called within about an hr. and booked the two days I was asking for in June. Seems like all is well so far.

Ask Chachi how he "fixed" John so that he could pass the HCM test.

But yes, Reynolds is a great RM. Cool, calm, and collected.

GREAT Shooting Rodralig! Can't wait to hear the rest of your trip report.

I heard the Pahrump Valley Winery has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.

I’ve stayed in their little trailers a few times. I hope they can pull through.

Too bad. I ate there twice on my last trip a few weeks ago. Great food. I did notice at the time that the dining room was pretty empty and not that many people at the wine tasting side.

A lot of restaurants have gotten hurt during the pandemic. A good friend of mine has 3 restaurants in Sweden. He said he lost $1M in 2020 and 2021 was almost as bad.

Pahrump news says they had not paid their liquor license fees, thats a automatic 6 months with out a permit. Just not enough reserves to make it through the hard times with c19. So sad.

Question for those not going the Gold Star route. If all my stuff stays the same as it was before all the crazy talk, then I have private training on my membership. I purchased the private training as an add-on to my Heritage when he did the name your offer promo.

If everything stays the same, then I have private training and it remains free. No x dollars per day. Correct?
