I got tired of the four pulls myself.
That said,I still use my LCT for .223,.38 special, load devolopement, etc.
It's a great press, but I shoot 9mm the most and the LNL shines for that.
One round per pull helps keep the tendonitis in check.
Also the powder measure(I have the micrometer inserts)is alot better than the Lee Perfect Powder measure.
Soon,I will buy another set of .223 dies and start reloading my plinking rounds on the LNL.

    Not to hijack OP thread,
Can anyone reccomend good .223 dies?(I have a set of Lee's on my Turret that I want to use for that press)I'd like to try something different.

As long as you don't try to crimp with them, I love hornady dies. mostly I love the seating die as it lines up the bullet with the case before it seats it. It makes loading easier and faster since you don't have to fuss with setting the bullet in there straight.
I don't really care for their sizing dies, but it works if you are careful when setting them up.

I set up the 28. Bullet feeder and have 4 tubes that I fill when I'm watching TV.
I think it's more helpful then a case feeder and much cheaper.
Get the tubes at Tap Plastics, 6' for 3.00.

Don't get a Dillon, your a prime candidate for a LNL if im understanding your situation correctly.

No need for a casefeeder, and without the collator if your filling tubes full of brass by hand its not going to save you much time. You will be astounded enough at the production rate.

A Dillon 650 without a casefeeder is kinda awkward, but an LNL is just fine.

All you need are the $35 shell plates for whatever calibers you want to load and your good to go.

Yep, when it goes on sale again snatch it up with the free bullets. You cant go wrong with either press the lnl or 650. I have the 650 as it was what I was looking for anyways. The case feeder can just be added later like what I plan on doing. Just like you and others i got tired of prepping brass and pulling the lever a million times until I could actually load some rounds and switching dies on the rock chucker. You will still end up using the SS or turret, whichever one you have, for rifle or odd calibers as I do. Only use the progressive for 9, 45, and wilk and 223/556 later in the future for mass production. It gets tiring and monotous when you load tens of thousands of rounds on a SS like I have. It drove me insane when I first hit the 10k mark.

              Wow!!
I only made it to about 3-4 k before I caved.

                Thanks
                I don't crimp my .223.
I have a set of 9mm Hornady dies.I agree about the seating die and sizing die.
In fact on my LNL I use a combination of Lee and Hornady for 9mm.
I'd love to get just one set for .223 (don't know if that's realistic)

Gonna see if cabelas will pricematch there 399.99 price with free shipping over $50 and no taxes.

Otherwise ill wait until black friday or holiday season and hope for the best

Yep, I saw the sale prices on the other shell plates and thought the 45 would also be on sale... but all the other stuff made up for it.

$400 shipped that aint bad. I hate that amazon charges taxes now.

Midway has them for 399.99 also

If anyones looking ive figured out almost all the stores that carry them lol

Midway, brownells, grafs, midsouth, amazon, gander mtn, academy, bass pro shop and i think cabelas.

The cheapest I have ever seen it was $390 shipped. I have bought two and they are great presses, especially if you don't use/need the case feeder.

The costs of caliber conversions are cheaper with the LNL because you don't have to drop money on a complete toolhead for each caliber.

Midsouth Shooters Supply has the press for $379 right now. It might be a little cheaper on Black Friday though. http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.co...ressive_Press_

I bought mine last year at about this time, hoping for a black Friday deal, but panicked as the 500 free bullet deal was set to expire at the first of the first of the year (it was extended). I've seen them cheaper, but not by much, since I bought mine. I Could not be happier with the press.

Setting an empty case on the shell plate is a simple and natural motion, that doesn't break the rhythm of running the press. Set a case-pull the handle, Set a case-pull the handle.....The trick is to have your tray of empties placed so as to minimize the motion.

I find placing the bullets on the case (straight) to be far more time consuming, and am working on a homemade bullet feeder.

The Hornady L-n-L press is a great machine, but be warned it will EAT UP components
