I measured a FC 124gr HST round. The base measured .386", the middle of the case measured .376" (where the base of the bullet was), and the case mouth was .376" as well. My die produces similar numbers. Why? Because it was properly designed and executed.

The quality of your photo matches the quality of your postings on this subject. Or did you intentionally blur the photo so we couldn't see the dies "TAPER".
The "EXPANDER" determines how much of the case is going to be straight sided, and "NOT" the "TAPERED" sizing die.
Instead of holding a camera you should be holding a magnifying glass and studying your own reloading dies and its "TAPER".
Then you should contemplate about how wrong you were about the OP dies and then figure some way to be humble and then say your long distant physic ability at guessing really sucks.
Using my physic ability I can see your reply coming now............

Have a nice day
