Dillon Press for CHEAP

Ok guys I was half way right and half wrong. Well he has 2 presses. 1 square b and the other is a RL 550. Are these a good deal for $200 each. Missing some pieces. The 550 has a 45 acp die, a 4 set. And the square b I don't know what caliber but it has dies on it. Missing pieces too. Should I get both or just the 550.

Plus what is the difference between the 550 and 550B.

I don't think they made a 450 with that vent hole on the rear upper spine. They did make one with a "trussed" front spine but it says RL450 in big casting on the rear spine so it would be obvious if it was a 450. Can't tell in the photo. Actually with the primer wheel, and the printing on the ram support I'm fairly sure it's a 550.

It looks like it started life as a 450 and was upgraded to a 550, that works just fine. It has the autoprime.

I'll take then both! . IMHO still a good deal.... Not as internet meme worthy but still very solid. 450/550 & squareb stripped go for 300+ on ebay.

Hi i was wondering if this is a good idea, i have a coworker that is selling a Dillon 550 and 650 for $250 each, i dont know what it comes with or if its just the press? i will take a look at it this weekend if they are the 550 and 650 i think imma just have to suck it up and buy them both. im hoping it comes with some other stuff.

Also what is the warranty on Dillon for things like this? to send it back and maybe get the newest model has anyone tried? just wondering if it is even worth the buy. Thanks guys

I HATE Dillon because of the cultic following. I HATE Dillon because they have great customer service that I would prolly rarely use.
I HATE Dillon just because I would rather go the other road.

With that said, if my friend offered me a 650 and 550 for $250 each, I would take them in a heartbeat.

I would keep the one I liked more and sell the other for slightly more than what I paid. Then I would go buy a Dillon hat and wear it whenever I use the press...
