Decent workbench to mount a press?

Hi all, I'd like some input as to a decent workbench which will be sturdy enough to mount a press to, but not break the bank.

I was looking at this one from Harbor Freight: http://m.harborfreight.com/multipurp...ght-60723.html

    Good? Not good? Other suggestions?

it'd probably be passable but you'd definitely want to anchor it to the wall, because you'd likely tip it over working a press. the top may not be very strong either, what's it made of? I reload on an old IKEA desk so you'd probably be fine with this, but definitely anchor to the wall with L brackets or something.

I saw a display model in the store last night and the top/work surface looks like a kind of dense composite/particle board material. I'm sure it's fairly tough (it's quite heavy), but thickness looks around 1/2" or so, maybe 5/8"

Don't get that portable one from home depot.

Bruce wished he owned a Droid RAZR.

I use that bench with my Rockchucker. The bench is at least 100 lbs and doesn't move too easily.

I bought this thing at Home Depot black friday weekend in 2012 for $60 & I like it:

I have an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme mounted to it as well as a powder measure with stand on there.

My buddy uses this as his reloading bench and has a Hornady LNL AP mounted to it. He likes it and for $69 already assembled it's a pretty good deal.

The way I judge is if I can put a hand down and pull my self up and know it will hold me for as long as I feel that's a good bench to go with. If you put your hand and body weight on it and it flexes move on.

+1 for this. I've been using mine for 2 years with my rockchucker and I love it. I did anchor it to the wall though.

I know of at least one friend of mine who uses one built from these plans -

Here's a great do-it-yourself project for the winter. Texan Robert Lewis made himself a great portable reloading bench from plywood mounted to a Black & Decker Workmate. The bench, roughly 22 x 19 on top, folds up to fit easily in your car's trunk or behind the seats in a pick-up truck cab.

so you can hold yourself up with one hand? been a few years since I could do that, lol.

I bought one of these benches, enclosed it with plywood, installed shelves and doors for storage. It has a slight wobble/ vibration when reloading being a bolt together frame so I don't necessarily like my sensitive digital scale being on the same bench when reloading but it's nice and works for me.
