I have shot lead in test 9mm (well 100gn) loads at what the chrono said was ~>1305fps, but usually shoot plated (Extreme @ around 1220fps with no issues), as it's hard to get 2k FMJ's @ ~$130.

Lead was kind of a pain and I had to flare a bit more, not to mention wax was making everything sticky. Plated are my faves.

I use Titegroup. A little dirty, but it is reasonably price and meters well in my press.

I use Unique for 9,.40,.38 and .45. Good stuff, it does like to be loaded on the top end to keep it clean.

My all time favorite powder for 9mm is 3N37. I only use it for my SD loads as it is just too expensive for any significant volume (at least for me). But the best, no doubt in my mind.
