    9mm powder?

Hey calgunners, what are some good powders for reloading 9mm or pistol rounds in general, I have a pound of "titegroup" but haven't used yet,
I'm using a lee pro auto disc powder measure so whatever can charge me accurate loads would be nice, Iv heard ball powder is the best? Btw I'm reloading 115 and 124 gr with cci #500 primers

I'm going back in my journal to February of 1995 and looking at my notes for 9mm and 115gr/124gr bullets, lol.

      115s: AA#7, Winchester 231 and Universal Clays.

      124s: Bluedot, Unique and AA#7.

      A blast from the past.

Hogdon has load data online for Titegroup in 9mm. The OAL tend rot be on the short side with this data, so don't be shy about loading a little longer, like 1.130+. Titegroup is dense, so keep an eye on the powder charge, easy to double or miss one.

W231 I one of the most versatile handgun powders. When you want top performing 9's give VV-3N37 a try.

        Have fun, good luck.

I've used HS-6 with good results when my 231 runs out. And the nice thing is it is in stock on Powder Valley.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to write all this down and start testing, now to find some instock, that's harder than reloading these days lol

I use 3.8gr of Titegroup with 124gr Jacketed FP Xtreme Bullets, my Glock occasionally chokes on it if I go longer than 1.100" OAL.

Titegroup is very popular for 9mm and meters well.

I'm a big fan of 231. I used bluedot but there tends to be some leftover powder. However, that could be from not cleaning primer pockets and flash holes. 231 has always burned clean for me. Good luck

Universal Clay's. It burns very clean in all my pistol calibers.

and remember W231 and HP38 are the same load data.
