9mm 124 jhp for $325/3750 (shipping included). That is roughly $86 per 1,000. That is the same as buying berrys bullets direct from berrys, but MG's are high quality jacketed. I just got a case of them delivered to my front door today. If you buy MG's by the thousand, the price is much higher.

I considered going back to the bear creek, since I was getting them for $53 per thousand, but both my mom and I thought our guns ran better with MG bullets. With MG's i rarely have a round that doesn't pass the case gage. With bear creek there were quite a few. There is a small chance I didn't tweak my load or dies enough to make the bear creek run good.

In my dads 1911 and my 460 S&W, the bear creek 200 RN's do quite well on steel targets at 7-30 yards.

I used to run Berrys bullets for 40 and 9mm competition use. They did the job pretty well, but I haven't run them lately.My shooting skills and understanding of reloading have improved since I used berrys. I don't know if I would see an accuracy difference or if I would be able to load them more consistently.

I have had a few wolf primers not go off. A few never went off, but not many. I also had some issues with a gun that had a low strength striker spring due to a trigger job, and some primers that were not seated fully when I was adjusting the dillon 1050 that I switched to using. I haven't had issues though for the last few months with wolf primers, so I think I solved the problems I had.

Today I shot 40 more Wolf primers LPP and had 0 failures. I understand that number to be little by a few standards but all us lil folks added up mean a lot.

BTW, I smash the **** out of them in the Lee Turret loader. I think I have only had ONE primer be destroyed by me on it and that was cause the shellholder let go of the shell a bit and it was off from the git go. I ruined the headstamp and everything though.

As far as I am concerned, a primer is a primer so buy the cheapest... Until I get a lot of misfires or what not this will be my opinion of wolf and Tula...

I just wish that Wolf would make theirs that cool copper color like Tula has. It is hard to take out each primer and hand color them with copper paint markers... There has to be a faster way. :\

Try electroplating the primers in a flammable boiling liquid, that will get the job done.

Just used some tula spp the other day that my boy got from powder valley ajd tgey weren't copper at all. Look exactoy pike the wolf ones I have.

OH, that is because I think mine were SRP. I used them in my 9m load with WST. I used hmm, damn. I forgot. They were NOT suposed to be in there, maybe they OH, they were SPPM yes, they were the magnums. Small pistol MAGNUMS are copper. They look cool in the brass shells. No need to scribble on them with a red marker cause nobody else used them in 9mm...

There is a known problem what Wolf Large Rifle and WC846 due to the flame retardant.
I get a fail to fire with small pistol maybe 1 per 100.

But I have fired more than 10k small rifle primers without problem.

I would be curious on the "known" problem with Wolf Large Rifle primers.

As for their efficacy, I've just polished off 10k of the small rifle in my 38 Super loads and have had ZERO issues. The ONLY thing I had to do was adjust their seating depth a smidge compared to my Winchester SR primers. However, that took all of 2 seconds as I load 38 Super on a RL1050 and can adjust the seating depth of my primers on the fly.

As for another more than substantial endorsement of Wolf primers, David Tubb, arguably the best rifle shooter EVER, fully loves Wolf primers when he's not using Federal 210M's.
