Bad Attitude @ Angeles Reloading Store.

I went in there for the first time about a month ago. My problem was, I actually had a question I guess. Arrogant and condescending but hey, he's obviously no genious outside of those 4 walls.
Probably the only accomplishment that guy will ever know, and he wants YOU to know it too.

The problem is, here in SoCal these days, we've got 1) The Reloading Store, 2) Philips Wholesale and 3) Fowlers/Stockade to choose from when it comes to a decent selection*. All of them are staffed by jerks so if you don't want (or can't) buy online you have to suck it up and put up with it. Jeez, I sure wish that reloading store in Northridge (can't think of the name right now) was still around.

*I'm deliberately leaving out Ammo Bros, Turners, Bass Pro and the like due to lack of selection.

...i'm still amazed how many people here have problems with these guys. Are you sure YOU guys arent coming off like a**holes in the first place, and maybe their attitude is just a reaction to it. I've been going there since I was uber noob. always asked questions, and never gotten a hint of tude.

Now why would you automatically assume that we must be doing something wrong, or that we're the problem?
I walked in there after having just put about 600 rounds down range. It was a great day, I was in a great mood, I was very polite, and I made the mistake of asking the old curmudgeon about which ammo might best cycle through one of my guns.
Maybe he didn't like my face or my choice of firearms but like I said, during our exchange, he was rude and condescending.
That's how it was.

Also I've worked several customer service jobs in my life, and the only times my attitude was less than friendly was when the customer was being a complete jerk.

six of one, half-dozen of the other i'd say. guys at shops are either *******s, or good judges of *******s. which tells me this: they can see that probably half the people that come in, are *******s and so they themselves act like *******s. there is a natural order to it. don't believe me? watch people drive on the freeway. yeah, you get it now don't ya?

Oh well, there you go. The chances that any of the rest of us have ever worked a customer service job, or know how to be friendly are pretty slim. I doubt that anyone else (except you) actually knows how to interact with another person. Most likely, just a whole thread of social retards here.

I've been going there for a few years now, and here is my take on it:
Rolf=a**h*** know it all who has poor people skills. I do not need my a** kissed, but act like you are doing your job. I do not like to carry all the crap I want to buy in my hands, and i put it on the counter and make a little pile while I shop. As soon as my stuff hits the counter he starts ringining me up as if to get rid of me. Don't rush me an maybe I will spend some more cash in your store.
The orher guy (the older one) always chats, answers questions and tries to be helpful.
I have many friends who refuse to spend money at the store becouse of Rolf. Me personally, I get what I need and leave, I am not there to make frieds, just to spend my cash.

angeles reloading store is still far better place then stockade or fowlers.you just got to talk the talk and Ralph will open up he is not bad
