Wow. That looks dangerous. NEVERMIND : Suggestion

You need to write down on paper the facts and edit that and condense to the salient points if you want these guys to help you. And yes they are experts.

Is there a reason why you won't answer simple questions?

as far as making contact are you talking about the shoulder?

also I am checking my oal using the ogive which i think was 2.21-2.24

I don't see any obvious signs on the shoulder for contact.

I have heard guys mark the shoulders with markers to help what do you think?
          regards

I had to save and flip the pictures to see them better. The side ways view makes them appear longer.

Your cases are definitely head spacing on the shoulder and I can't see a problem.

Show us a fired case next to an unfired case and a new case.

Also in the quoted text above we are unsure of the OAL. 2.21-2.24" is neither the case OAL or the proper bullet OAL.

The cartridge OAL should be in the 2.800" range according to Speer.

Maybe just a little more info before there is an answer.

Orangeusa nailed it. Go back through the posts and write down each question.

What dies, scale, full length cam over resize, primers used, case brand, hand weighed powder charge or a thrown measure charge and any other relevant information on how you process your reloads.

Your low end load should not be a problem if factory ammo is ok. There are so many variables that no one knows the answer with only partial information.

Take your time and lay it all out from start to finish.

he is measuring from the oglive. I have the same gauges.
2.21 is a good number for that bullet. it is the same as my savage FCP-K.

if you still have some of that ammo loaded, you are going to have to take them apart anyways. remeasure the powder. it should be within .1 grains of what you put in. if you were using a digital scale, Was it at zero. sorry I had to ask.

also I have Sierra 175 SMK . if you want to measure the diameter of that bullet, I will see if they measure the same.

Hard to chamber is usually shoulder area and hard to extract is usually the web area in front of the case head.
Take an unfired round put it in your press and raise the ram without a die present.
Grab the bullet with some pliers and lower the ram removing the bullet and toss it and the powder out.
Insert the round into your chamber and close the bolt.
It should chamber easily on a hunting rifle.
If it doesn't screw the die down in small increments and try the brass in the gun after each increment.
When you run brass into a full length sizing die the shoulder moves forward.
As you continue to screw the die down in small increments the shoulder will continue to move forward and then it will stop.
If you keep screwing the die down in small increments the shoulder will start moving back and the neck length will start getting longer.
With a purpose built competition rifle you want to feel some drag as you lower the bolt handle.
On a hunting rifle you want the bolt to close with ease.
As soon as your bolt handle drops without any drag turn the die about 1/8th turn more and your all set.

Since I would pretty much repeat what LynnJr just said.
I had your scenario with a 300Win Mag.It was a new to me gun.I have 2 other guns in the same caliber.
The new one needed the brass sized a touch smaller/tighter than the other 2.
Chamber was just a smidge tighter than the other ones. Not really a bad thing, but had me scratching my head for a few rounds.

Try running your size die down a little more. That one rifle of mine,I had to have the press cam over kind of hard.

Tell us moreabout the brass. Where did you get it? How are you sizing it? What is the fired base diameter? Sized base diameter?

the brass is mixed brass Once fired , i think i got it from rmrbullets.com

,ppu, fc, and some pmc, i have some military crimped stuff that i have been holding off on since they have been breaking my lee decapping pin.
I am using the lee universal rifle die set using the full length sizer.

Fired based diameter? do you mean of the brass before i load and fire?

                    Sized base diameter? after loading?

                    Iron horse1

inside diameter of case head after sizing is .3in or 7.62mm

oal bullet tip to base 2.75in
                    oal with comparator 2.20 in

getting a fired case and sliding bullet in is no problem

I do not have access to another scale I am using the dillon precision scale counter weight scale.

                    need more info.
is it "your" once fired brass ? onced fired
what is the headstamp ?ppu ,fc ,pmc
which dies are you using ?lee univ full length
when you setup the die, is it just touching the shellplate or do you give it an extra 1/8th turn ? yes

when you put the resized brass in your Wilson guage is it also flush at the base with the guage ? yes

have you tried putting one of your ready brass in your rifle and chamber it to see it chambers and ejects properly. NO Primer... yes I will make a couple dummy rounds and check again
                    __________________

but the shell plate one yes it touches the shell plate to where I am having the handle give that last little pop.

oh and don't think I have said that I am using a dillon precision 550

I usually decap then take it out do a 30 or so like that clean out primer pocket etc then start priming /charging and seating bullet

Baih 777 is right i am using the

Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gage Bolt Action

                    and

Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator Basic Set with 6 Inserts

                    Ok I hope this helps
so many helpful suggestions its hard to answer all question thanks though

Fired base diameter meaning how it came out of your chamber after firing vs how it came out of your sizing die after sizing.

Looking at your photos you have rings on the shoulder of the case.

Did you chamber these cases in your rifle?

Are you full length resizing or neck sizing?

Will the cases eject after they have cooled down?

I'm going to take a WAG and say you are not sizing the cases enough for your chamber. Meaning bumping the shoulders back far enough and sizing the body.

Forget the Wilson case gauge and buy a Hornady cartridge case headspace gauge. The Hornady gauge is far more accurate and you only need that gauge for every different caliber.

Example below, a fired case from my AR15 carbine.

Below the same case after full length resizing and .003 shoulder bump or setback.

Study the picture below, the blue dotted line shows you that you can actually make your cases "LONGER" than their fired length during full length resizing.

The red dotted line is your fired length and you want to push the shoulder back .001 to .002 minimum from the red dotted line to ensure they chamber. If you push the shoulder back to the green dotted line you are over resizing your cases and case head separations will occur.

I now us my Wilson case gauges for paper weights and pen holders.

And remember, we live in a plus and minus manufacturing world and sometimes you need to lap the top of the shell holder to push the case far enough into the die to fit "YOUR" chamber. And I have a Lee .223 die that will push the shoulder back .009 shorter than the GO gauge and it will size the base of the case smaller in diameter than my small base dies, when it is setup per the dies instructions. (press cam over)

And the Hornady gauge will help you add up the pluses and minuses for the correct fit in your chamber.
