    Regardless of OS, it's (1) Chrome, (2) Firefox, (3) <native to OS> for me.

I am on Firefox and numerous stellar add-ons. Not sure about the other posts, Firefox has been very solid as anything for me. Performance hasn't been an issue on my systems, Firefox runs fast - I do have fast power systems too. Really, I have been very happy with Firefox.

As Soldier415 wrote here, I too will not sign on anymore than I have to with Google and their funny EULAs either. Perhaps an open source Chrome may be cool - but again with Firefox I have a tuned machine that filters and runs the way I want it to easily.

FF has been a bit laggy in the last few revs, but I still prefer it, as I have been using FF as my main browser since FF EARLY beta MANY YEARS ago... I don't use add-ons much.

Chrome is getting better, but to open downloads logically was a pain, compared to FF... I don't do tabs, as I use ALT-TAB a lot, even in Slackware.

Don't get me started on Opera, IE, and Safari...

Ahhh Netscrape Navigator, those were the days, Webcrawler, Usenet, Bigfoot, Compuserve.

Tried FF numerous times and have always left it behind, Chrome's ok but as Odysseus pointed out I'm not too happy about information use. It's still IE for me... I've never had a website show up weird or act funny.... Not that I can remember anyway.

Been using Chrome since it was released. Never looked back, don't care what people have to say about the data mining crap - I'm sure every company does it anyways.

I use Chrome 99% of the time. I like that you can turn ads off Seems like Firefox has been taken over by the bloat effect. More popular they get the more junk to download and take up your time.

Chrome + extensions & keyboard shortcuts for me, hands down. I will use FF for Crazedlist or FF/IE for the ever-so-rare website that requires it.

Someone needs to make a Recap extension for Chrome.

I still use FF. I've tried chrome, but I didn't really notice any differences in speed for the sites I browse. I may check it out again, depending on how FF holds out. FF has become a bit unstable in the last couple of years or so. I get more crashes than I used to.

For a long time I ran Chrome at work and FF at home. The FF browser was great with Norton add on. Then FF upgraded and the Norton add on wasn't compatable. So than I added Chrome at home. Now 100% Chrome at home and work. Safari is comparable and a #2, but I HATE APPLE so I try not to use it.

I think this sums it up pretty well

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. - Han Solo
