Chrome Browser Overtakes Firefox in Popularity. Who's Using it?

I've read a couple of articles saying Chrome has overtaken Firefox and is now second in popularity after I.E.

Who's using Chrome and how do you like it vs. other browsers?

I tried Chrome and rejected it because it does not allow tool bars which I need for my password manager (Roboform). I find Chrome a bit faster than Firefox especially for videos but Google is obsessed with controlling the browsing experience and will not allow you to do things your way.

Firefox is far less than perfect but it's infinitely customizable and extendable. I'll stay with Firefox until Google relaxes some controls and allows toolbars.

I've been using it since it came out. Works great, uncluttered.
The only thing I don't like is the fact that there's no Google toolbar for it. I mean, I really liked having my google bookmarks... Why can't I have that in Chrome?

Do you mean bookmarks like this?

I use chrome over Firefox because I have crashes with Firefox all year, so it's not just my pc or a particular version. It's a Flash related crash. But, for some reason, I cannot copy and paste images in chrome like I can in Firefox. So I dunno

Switched to Chrome from Safari about 6 months ago on OS X, haven't looked back.

Firefox is still my main browser, because of the addons, but I do use Chrome all the time. They're normally both open.

Wife is running Chromium (open-source version of chrome). I am still on FF. Mostly for ABP because my hosts file was no longer sufficient to defeat java fed ad sources.

I use both currently. I still prefer the way I have firefox configured, but as indicated, chrome does seem to be quicker to respond, and as far as I've seen, doesn't have any ads on youtube videos. (BF3 also seems to run better launching from chrome.. not 100% sure as to why, since both seem to chew about the same amount of RAM)

I use chrome since it came out. I prefer the chrome because its faster and its CLEANer look. I don't like toolbar , just the bookmarks.

I've also used chrome since day one but I have 2 websites that I use at work that don't work in chrome so i have to use Exploder, which I hate.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

I've been using Chrome for a few months now. Was using FireFox but it was crashing or just would not boot or was very slow. Not sure why. I have IE, FF and Chrome installed and use all three.

For basic surfing Chrome is now my 1st choice.

For work I have to use IE (my company's Intranet only works with IE for some reason).

I find I'm using FF only once a week or so now.

IMHO, FF is still better than GC as there's limited ability to customize GC. Furthermore, I am unsure if GC may (may not) be tracking browsing history??? Lastly, IE has not been touched for a few years.

I use Chrome to play Word2 (Word Squared) and to watch the latest episodes of The Amazing Race on CBS.

Everything else is via Firefox. So far with NoScript, AdBlock and Firefox's built-in security thingee, my computer has not been hijacked by some bot.
