I started using Chrome due to issues with FireFox and it works well with Gmail and GoogleVoice. However, I did have issues logging in to my domain management company. They stated it was an issue with Chrome. Sure enough, it worked fine with FireFox.

Firefox copied the rapid release idea from Chrome.
Seems like I see a lot of people randomly use this as a reason to switch to Chrome, when Chrome was the one that popularized it.

Chrome makes ME less efficient. With things such as finding, then running a download you closed the notification of finished download for when you don't know the exact driver name. FF lists downloads via chronological order, most recent to oldest.

Open the "Tools" with just the keyboard in chrome: Shift+Alt+T, ALT-E-O?
FF: Alt, then arrow to what you want.

How do you change the default search if AVG hijacks in Chrome?: Unsure.

I am a old-schooling keyboard monkey, and prefer a keyboard-normal interface, especially if a mouse dies. ALT=Menus
I prefer mechanical buckling-spring keys on a keyboard rather than a "Windows key"...
