Everything else is via Firefox. So far with NoScript, AdBlock and Firefox's built-in security thingee, my computer has not been hijacked by some bot.
If your interested ADBlock+ and NoScript are available in Chrome through the Chrome store.

I actually hated Chrome until I learned the shortcuts now I prefer it over Firefox. There are plenty of extensions to customize it and the Android like app feature is nice. It's actually the only way to get a legit Kindle reader on Linux without breaking DRM.

chrome is far more customizable than firefox.

which is why I use it.

Been using Chrome since it came out. I use it 99% of the time at home and use it at work to browse the net, research and other things. I have noticed that with some of our websites at work the developers have it IE optimized only.

My buddy at work uses Firefox and I do like his nifty password saver. Might need to look into something like that for Chrome.

Oh, so that's where to find the add-ons.

Thankee, yellowsulphur. When I get back, I'll check out CS for them.

I use SRWare Iron, an open source version of Chrome. It's the exact same thing, without the "giving of your soul" agreement you have to agree to with chrome.

I gave Chrome a chance but went back to firefox. At work it seem slow for my employees who tried it.

The Android phones don't use Chrome. Their browsers are based off the same engine as Chrome and Safari, but wouldn't be considered the same browser.

Chrome is so much faster than Firefox, and has a substantially smaller memory footprint.

All my favorite add-ons work with Chrome, and I can sync the browser settings, saved passwords, auto-fill info, etc. with all my computers. (and shortly with my Android phone.)

The unified URL/Google Search bar is amazing. I get so irritated when I use other browsers that don't support that feature.

                          Chrome is awesome.

Still a FF supporter here. It's primarily a legacy thing, since I have it all set up how I want it, but also I don't see any speed advantage using Chrome (actually I find it to be slower in many applications), and I constantly get content errors with Chrome (Flash, Java, etc).
Wish I was rich instead of so damn good looking.

Chrome's slightly faster with one tab open. But I regularly have 10+ tabs open studying and collecting sources for school, and chrome is almost always guaranteed to crash on me. On my computer, my laptop, my gf's computer, and her laptop. So my allegiance has had to be with FF for their tab support. There has been times where I've had an ungodly amount of tabs open, 40-50+, FF still hasn't crashed on me. I had a few crashes with the older versions with flash overloads, haven't had a problem with that in awhile though.
