It seems that it is coming back. BUT then again I never really had a problem finding it. I use the Brassbadger Web site to find 22LR with NO problem or even any of my ammo at Walmart. I dropped by a BassPro a couple of times in the last week. One time they were flush with .22. The next there was nothing. It's coming in, and it's going out just as fast...

When I get my 5K rounds of mini mags from Midway USA I ordered over a year ago it will be officially coming back.

My best friend JUST had his 14 month Midway 22 LR back-order order shipped.
So Midway is dealing with the backlog....

Was at Turner's in Pasadena earlier and I saw .22LR back on shelves! Saw some 300 round boxes of CCI minimags for anyone to take. Was a bit expensive at $33 a box but better than nothing. Is it the same situation elsewhere or is this just a fluke?

For that price that's ridiculous!!! I would never pay that kind of money for 300 rounds. That's not a sale at all in my book but at least CCI appears to be coming back cuz I haven't seen any kind of CCI 22LR for a long time.

Turners had 300 round boxes of CCI Mini-Mag for $32.99. The 100 round boxes of same were $9.99. Yes, a customer pays $3.02 more for the larger box. No idea where that logic came from.

I picked up a few 100 rounders just so I would have some .22LR in the house. Every store I check has been out of stock for months.

This is why my flavor for now is 'Black Powder'!!!

I even bought an NAA .22lr Cap & Ball revolver last year....this summer I'll get the NAA .22Mag Cap & Ball revolver and then I'll pick up a .32 Cal Rifle. I'm still getting my cheap thrills!!!

Two interesting things happened today.

1. I got an in stock notification that Midway had 40gr mini mags for sale. Gone by the time I clicked on it of course.
2. I got a cancellation on my backorder for the exact same ammo because they can't possibly get any.

So yeah, they're breaking up the cases and selling them to new customers at higher prices instead of filling backorders.
