.22LR is coming back?

Was at Turner's in Pasadena earlier and I saw .22LR back on shelves! Saw some 300 round boxes of CCI minimags for anyone to take. Was a bit expensive at $33 a box but better than nothing. Is it the same situation elsewhere or is this just a fluke?

Am I the only one who never really had trouble locating .22lr? Yea it was always sold out at walmart, but online I found CCI all the time for $6/50. I know that's not the best price or the same price as 10 years ago, but it's still cheap enough...

Same thing at Turners Torrance. 2 box limit though.
They still had some 3 days after ammo delivery, unheard of around here for the last two years.

I don't like buying ammo at turners...usually more expensive, but if you can't find it, expensive is better than none I suppose. Or is it feeding into the problem by paying inflated prices?

I was at Oxnard WalMart and Turners today. Not a round of .22 anywhere at either place.

I don't know about how well rimfire is coming back but today I did see some 17 HMR, 17SWM, CCI .22LR Stingers and a bunch of .22 Mag in several types. I bought one box of CCI .22 Maxi-Mag for 13.99 a box of Barns TSX .30 cal. 165 gr. and a pound of Mag Pro powder to try out in the .300 RUM.

When I get my 5K rounds of mini mags from Midway USA I ordered over a year ago it will be officially coming back.

The mini mag 300 round boxes sold out first at $33, but they also had mini mag 100 rd sliders for 9.99 ea. Dont know why the price difference for same ammo, only real difference was you could get (2)300 rounders or (3)100 round sliders. I picked up the sliders because they fit better in pockets, rigid packaging helps too.

Yes it is a bit easier to find now price is still a bit high. Hope it comes down in price more my kids go through 22lr like candy.

Nothing's the same price anymore as 10 years ago. Except Costco hotdogs.

In the past 2 weeks I have scored 8 boxes of 22's. Which was 7 more than last year. 2 boxes of 350, 4 boxes of 222, 2 boxes of 50.
